What is a deep cleaning?

It’s a thorough, intensive service that targets built-up dirt, grease, dust, and bacteria in areas not fully addressed during routine cleaning. It focuses on detail, sanitation, and hard-to-reach or often-neglected areas.

It’s recommended for homes that haven’t been professionally cleaned in a while, before starting routine cleaning, or during seasonal resets.

What exactly is Downsizing Pals?

Downsizing Pals is a hands-on home transition service that helps people simplify and organize their spaces when preparing for a move or major life change. We provide expert support with decluttering, sorting, packing, and preparing homes for sale or relocation.

Our goal is to make the process smooth, efficient, and stress-free, giving clients peace of mind as they move into the next chapter of their lives.

What experience do you have in home downsizing, decluttering, and organizing?

We’ve helped many people simplify, organize, and prepare their homes for moves and life transitions. We also bring personal experiences from moving our own homes, between cities and continents, which has taught us efficient ways to sort through belongings and prepare spaces for relocation. Our goal is to make every transition as smooth, organized, and stress-free as possible for seniors and their families.

Our process is simple, methodical, and tailored to each client’s home and goals. We follow a clear step-by-step approach to make downsizing and moving stress-free:

Decluttering & Sorting – Items are sorted into keep, donate, recycle, or discard categories, helping you simplify your space efficiently.
Organizing & Packing – We carefully pack and organize belongings, labeling boxes and creating systems that make unpacking easy.
Preparing for Transition – We help get your home move-ready, whether that’s staging for sale, clearing for relocation, or preparing for a new chapter.
